Privacy Policy

FaithLock: Pray First is designed to help Christians pause, pray, and protect their attention. We keep the app intentionally private.
Information We Do Not Collect
FaithLock does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, reflection journal entries, selected blocked apps, prayers, or Bible verse activity on our own servers.
Private reflections are stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. Screen Time app selections are stored locally so FaithLock can run focus sessions and apply blocking rules you choose.
Purchases
FaithLock uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and restore purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase history and subscription status so the app can unlock FaithLock Premium and prevent purchase fraud. RevenueCat may use anonymous app user identifiers for this purpose.
FaithLock may also send RevenueCat minimal, non-sensitive session completion metadata, such as whether a focus session was completed, a completed-session count, the selected mood category, and completion time. This helps us understand whether the subscription experience is working and improve the app without requiring an account.
We do not sell your purchase information and do not use it to track you across apps or websites for advertising.
Analytics and Diagnostics
FaithLock may use PostHog to understand general app usage and diagnose errors. This can include events such as onboarding progress, focus sessions started or completed, selected mood category, paywall interactions, reminder settings, anonymous user identifiers, crash data, and diagnostic information.
FaithLock does not send private reflection text, prayer journal entries, selected blocked app names, selected website names, names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, location, or Bible verse text to PostHog.
We do not use analytics or diagnostics data to track you across apps or websites for advertising.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, FaithLock may schedule gentle local reminders such as streak reminders. These reminders are created on your device.
Screen Time Permissions
FaithLock uses Apple Screen Time APIs only after you grant permission. These permissions allow you to select apps or websites to block during a Faith Focus session. Your selections are used to apply the blocking rules you request.
Children
FaithLock is not intended to collect personal information from children.
